Turkey and I have been involved with Party4Paws for a while now as volunteers with Little RES Q.

This event is in Toronto at Trinity Bellwoods Park in the Dog Bowl. It was set for Saturday but the rain had other plans and it was held on the Sunday instead.

There is a Spring fair and a Summer fair. Both are fantastic events that draw large crowds and plenty of four-legged friends.

Turkey is one of Little RES Q‘s ambassadors and she uses her magnificent charms to help educate about red eared slider turtles.

Her exceptionally large size is such a great conversation starter.

This time, we took our set-up on Toronto Transit. It was difficult and I do not recommend it. We had quite the adventure moving an entire set-up (tables, chairs, tent, Turkey, etc.) on the TTC.

We were lucky enough to be able to borrow a tent from the York South-Weston Tenant Union. They were so gracious about our request and were happy to help support local charities.

We touched down at the Dog Bowl and started setting up. The volunteers flocked to us and we were set-up in no time. It was like magic.

We met lots of wonderful people who instantly fell in love with Turkey. Vetster, an online vet service, was right next to us (not sponsored, non-affiliate link). They had a photoshoot spot organized and we were able to get professional photos of Turkey taken.

Turkey stole the hearts of the people she met; not only for her physical size but the size of her personality.

Turkey knows what a camera looks like and she’s not afraid of taking every chance to get her close-up.

The Party4Paws event was fabulous. Wally, who coordinates the entire event and their incredible army of volunteers, did yet another fantastic job. We were very well taken care of and every request felt like it was a top priority.

I am so thankful for everyone who attended and all of the volunteers!

We had a fantastic time.

Make sure to check out TSP Wellness – she has the most incredible wares (and she carries crystal turtles!)

We purchased a turquoise ring that is so beautiful. I can’t wait to see what she brings next year!
